Richard Johnstone
Kia Ora, (Hi in Maori). I am from New Zealand. I graduated from the University of Auckland specializing in Linguistics. In New Zealand I gained my qualification as a Certified English Language Teacher (TESOL – Trinity College of London). I have taught English to foreign students studying in New Zealand, before moving to Taiwan. I have taught English in Taipei to children as well as companies, for example management at Carrefour, Taiwan. After just under a year there, I decided to move to Central Europe, Poland in 2001 and have been here since.
I have also taught English in the UK during the summer months at Summer Language schools, where many students come to practise English in a real environment.
I moved to Warsaw in 2007 and have been teaching English to teenagers, individuals, corporate companies – all levels. I now have 10 years of experience and can help students to prepare for the Cambridge exams including one of the newest exams for accountants (International Certificate in Financial English)) and people who need financial English for their work. (This exam can help those people who are studying for the ACCA exams).
My lessons are fun, involving and you will gain confidence in speaking in just only a few lessons.
