Why learn with a native speaker?
There are several advantages to learning a language with a native speaker.
- You have exposure to the living language, which is something no book will ever be able to fully replicate.
- Native speakers focus on communication, not grammar.
- You will build your confidence knowing that you are able to speak with a foreigner.
- Talking with a foreigner can be an enriching experience, not just in terms of language learning and not just for one side, both sides benefit through cultural exchange!
In addition to being a native speaker, I’m a well-trained and experienced language instructor who’s been teaching English since 2004. I have a BA degree in Linguistics and an SIT-TESOL certification as well as a Masters of Education in International Teaching from Framingham State College. I have experience in instructing may different kinds of English language and am always interested in new subjects and methods.
