Denis Poitras

I am living in Ruda Śląska with my wife and baby son. I came to Poland in December of 2003 and I have been teaching English since then. I was born in Canada and I speak both English and French.

I specialise in teaching Business English because of my business qualifications and experience (see below). I recognise that many businesses in Poland are investing in English for the purpose of work, and my specialised service brings relevant learning to the needs of the business marketplace. I also teach General English.

CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) from Cambridge University.
BA Economics, McGill University, Montreal.
2003-Present: Contracting directly with companies, organizing groups. Large or small businesses and for private individuals.
1998-2003 Financial Controller, managing an accounting team and information systems.
1994-1998 Business Owner with 8 employees.

My professional experience and education provide me with valuable business language for sales and marketing, general administration, operations management and human resources.
