Greetings

My name is Alex and I have been living and working in Katowice, Poland for almost 3 years. My reason for visiting this diverse and crazy country, a Polish woman no less. My girlfriend twisting my arm into experiencing her culture first hand, before agreeing on any further commitments together.

I have been teaching in private schools and businesses for close to 18 months and really enjoying the change in lifestyle and profession (though not the Polish roads!). I am originally from Portsmouth on the South coast of England where I worked in the hotel industry for close to eight years in various positions of middle management. I am in the process of beginning my own company in Poland (Savvyenglish!-check me out on facebook!) and planning to take my CELTA diploma in July to cement my career U-turn in teaching.

If you're looking for a laid back, humourous teacher who's an excellent conversationalist, has sound grammar knowledge and a near perfect dialect; I'm the man for the job! I have travelled the world and love discussing all range of topics, though a self-proclaimed film-geek, football lover and now snowboarding enthusiast!
