Personal Information
Right,
I’m from Birmingham, England and I came to Poland about 18 months ago. Why? Because I have a sense of adventure and Poland has always been a country I’ve been interested in. I didn’t really do anything before becoming an English teacher as I’m still relatively young. I have always wanted to teach as I believe it’s the only genuine way to make a difference.
I originally trained to be an Economics teacher but moved into English teaching after my studies when I realized how rewarding it could be, plus teaching English gives me more global mobility!
2006 - Economics Degree from the Univeristy of Staffordshire
2008 - Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language
2008 - Completed training for Teaching English in the U.K. college system
2010- Completed training in, Using Technology in an ESL classroom and Effective teaching strategies for European exams.
I like to travel and I like to learn about eastern European culture. Hopefully, within the next few years I will have mastered Polish! In my spare time, I support Aston Villa FC and I also like to write.
