Personal Information
Hello!
I'm Michael, and I come from the United Kingdom. But you would like to know more, wouldn't you?
My journey first started in Poland in 2008. It has been a rather exciting journey, with many different twists along the way. As part of my journey, I have taught many different people - ranging from teenagers, straight through to doctors and company directors. Along the way, I've had many challenges - including often taking classes with little to no notice. Perhaps the biggest challenge I've ever faced was being required to teach a group of complete beginners with no preparation - and I'm pleased to say that I managed to succeed. It was certainly the toughest two hours I've ever had in the classorom!
Many people ask - what are your methods? The answer to that is simple - my method is the one that works with the client and their needs. There is no one way to teach - I believe in a flexible, open minded approach. What works for one student may not work with another - and this is the most important thing to remember.
At the moment, I teach a mix of private and in-company clients, as well as a couple of in-school classes every week.
I have my own classroom for teaching clients, located in the Grunwald district of Poznan - about 5 minutes away from the crossing of Glogowska/Hetmanska and also close to Hala Arena. It also has ample car parking available. Of course, it may be possible to have classes at a location nominated by the client - I have a full driving licence and a car :)
My personal philosophy is that flexibility is important for my clients. To this extent, I have no "cancellation fees" or any other such practices - rather, I believe in being as flexible as possible for my clients. I particularly welcome clients who require classes on a flexible basis - I am very aware that plans can change!
I can also offer an invoice for classes - I have my own registered business in Poland. I'm also open to new possibilities - I particularly welcome new challenges!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask - I welcome enquiries in both Polish and English.

I have many interests, both relating to teaching and otherwise. But mainly, I am interested in travelling, meeting new people and new experiences. I'm particularly keen on learning new things - at the minute, I'm very interested in aviation and the entire airline industry. Apart from this, I'm always trying to build new relationships and friendships - these are important for me. I'm also studying the Polish language almost every day - I think I'm making progress in this exceptionally difficult language!
I am also interested in many different things - such as business, history, computers and languages.
In respects to hobbies, I'm passionately involved with the local CouchSurfing group - this group brings together travellers from all over the world, as well as local people. Through this, I'm involved in helping visitors to Poland discover Poznan.
I also organise the weekly Language Exchange Club in Poznan where many different people come together to exchange languages with each other. This has been a great success, with over 30 people attending every week, sharing langugse and experiences in an informal context.
