The beginning

NativeSpeaker.com.pl started as the personal website of one American living in Poland who needed work teaching English to Polish people. Rather quickly he gained enough hours (both through the website and personal contacts) to be sufficiently busy. Yet, people were still finding him through the website, in fact, people from all parts of Poland!

First, he started forwarding requests to other native speakers he knew. Then, he asked them to make a profile on his website. Soon, native speakers from all over Poland were requesting to be put on the website. After some time, the website outgrew its own original intention and along with it, its technical capacity. A full rebuilding on the website was needed and in February 2011, this was finally achieved!
